Emergency help for burns, bee stings, mosquito bites, cuts, scrapes, etc.
Soothing Skin Clarifier
(for minor acne flare-ups)
 
1/2 cup warm distilled water
1/4 teaspoon salt
Raw honey
Mix water and salt. Using a cotton ball, apply directly to blemish. Maintain pressure with cotton ball for several minutes, to soften blemish. Using a cotton swab, dab honey on blemish; leave on 10 minutes. Rinse and pat dry.

Facial Firming Mask

1 tablespoon raw honey
1 egg white
1 teaspoon glycerin ( available at drug and beauty stores)
Flour
Whisk the honey, egg white and glycerin together. Add enough flour to form a paste. Smooth over face and throat. Leave on 10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water and pat dry.







Stawberry-Kiwi Facial Cleanser

5-6 Strawberries
1 peeled Kiwi
1/2 cucumber
Blend all ingredients to a paste consistency. If to thin, add a tsp at a time of oatmeal. The paste needs to be thick enough to stay on your face without dripping off. 
Apply and massage gently. Leave on for 5-10 minutes Rinse.
No shelf life - keep refrigerated.









Hair Conditioner for Dry Brittle Hair

1/2 cup raw honey
1/4 cup olive oil
Mix honey and oil together. Using a small amount at a time, work mixture through hair until coated. Cover hair with shower cap; leave on for 30 minutes. Shampoo well
and rinse. Dry as normal


Citrus Bath Soak

3 cups + 1 tsp sea salt
1 cup dried milk
1 lemon
1 orange
2 drops orange essential oil
3 drops lemon essential oil
Slice orange and lemon into thin slices. Drip the essential oils onto the slices. Stir. Add 1tsp. of salt and stir. (The salt encourages the fruit to release even more of their natural juices.) Marinate the fruit for 5 minutes. In separate bowl, combine remaining salt and milk. Mix the fruit into the salt and milk. 
Add your Citrus Soak to warm bath water. Sink in and relax for as long as possible. Emerge refreshed and revived.
